Pastors Keyboard: I wanted to thank everyone who supported St. Peter Claver’s Labor Day Festival. We were blessed to have volunteers from both St. Peter Claver and St. Cecilia, as well as youth from other parishes.

What I love most about the festival is the way in which we can use it to let people know that the church is still here and active in St. Mary’s County. Every year I have had the privilege to be here as the Pastor at St. Peter Claver and St. Cecilia. I have seen people at this festival who were once members of one of my two parishes. Every year it has gotten one or more people to come home again to the practice of their faith. This, more than anything else, makes all the hard work worth it.

So, thank you again for everything you do to help support St. Peter Claver and St. Cecilia.
